Dear Voyager,

It is with regret we must inform you that Odyssey Opera will no longer perform Edward German’s Merrie England, originally scheduled for June 5 and June 7, 2020, at Huntington Avenue Theatre.

In accordance with public health guidelines governing the continuing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, the City of Boston has suspended events of gathering crowds until September 7, 2020. Rest assured that our priority is the health and safety of our artists, staff and audience members as we adhere to the recommendations from local, regional and national health officials and government entities.

We will continue to update you and we encourage you to stay tuned for information about future Odyssey Opera events. We remain committed to maintaining engagement with our devoted audiences, providing you with the rewarding experiences you have come to expect from Odyssey Opera.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we navigate these uncharted waters. Your ongoing support is the force in our sails and we look forward to our next voyage together again soon.

Sincerely,

Gil Rose
